Why is AluForm the Best Choice?
Why Aluminium Refurbishment is preferred by Many?

The process of Aluminium Refurbishment and Formwork (AluForm) is seen as a feasible solution due to its reusability factor. Each set of formwork has its own number for repetition, which reduces the raw material cost and wastage. Therefore, it has been opted for by several in the industry.

In Aluform technology, the molds are created out of aluminium as per the requirement of the structure. It is decided after the finalisation of the drawings. Once the molds are erected on site, the second step involves pouring concrete. The best benefit of this procedure is that the main material (aluminium panels) can be used in several repetitions as per your requirement, saving cost and promoting material reusability.

Our Standard Operating Procedure

The following flow chart provides a simple step-wise understanding of the chronology of necessary procedures to be executed.

Detailing of Procedures

Drawing

  • Receiving structural drawings from the client side
  • Designing of Shell Plan
  • Designing of Modulation Drawing (as per available material and new material)
  • Material List
  • Area Statement

Inspection

  • Checking the material for refurbishment during the inward entry.
  • Bifurcating the damaged and well-conditioned panels from each other.
  • Sorting and identifying the old material that matches the requirement of current designs and getting clarity on the new materials that will be needed.

Chipping

  • This process removes the dry concrete slurry connected to the aluminium panels and sections
  • This process is completed using chippers.

Chemical Chipping

  • The panels are dipped in the chemical-contained tank to remove the dried-up slurry concrete from both sides.

Cleaning

  • The panels are cleaned properly using the water jet.

Leveling

  • Straightening of panels.
  • Removable of undulations (if any)
  • By using a Hydraulic press machine

Welding

  • Welding is done for cut or damaged parts.
  • Equipment used: Welding Machine.

Buffing

  • Making surface to receive the lacker coating.
  • With the help of Buffing Machine.

Coating

  • To achieve smooth finish and easy removal of panel
  • Coating with lacker is done
  • Equipment used
    1. Air Compressor
    2. Paint Gun
    3. Air Pipe

    Mock-Up

    • Mock-up of flats and staircase, lift.
    • Check if any Modification is required for hole matching.
